Once we confirm your truck and dates we require a 30% down payment to complete your reservation. We accept PayPal bank transfers and other convenient options for payment. We discuss what works best for you!

We offer free local pickup and drop off at our beauiful location near the Beach in Playa hermosa Jaco. For rentals over 14 nights we include Free pickup and drop off at SJO airport (normal business hours only) We can also arrange one of our trusted drivers to get to and from our location.

Got Questions?

Do I need a 4x4 license or special permit?

No special license is required. A standard international driver's license is all you need. We do recommend some experience driving on rough terrain, as some of our recommended routes involve unpaved mountain roads.

What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum rental is 5 nights. Most guests find that 7+ nights gives them the time to truly explore Costa Rica's diverse regions without feeling rushed.

Is insurance included?

Basic liability coverage is included in the rental. We'll go over the insurance details and any additional options during the booking process so there are no surprises.

Can I take the truck across borders?

The rental is for Costa Rica only. Cross-border trips into Panama or Nicaragua are not permitted under the standard rental agreement. Let us know if you have a specific trip in mind and we can discuss options.

What if something goes wrong on the road?

We're reachable by phone and WhatsApp throughout your trip. We'll do a full briefing at pickup so you know exactly what to do in any situation. If something mechanical comes up, we'll arrange support and do everything we can to get you back on the road quickly.

Is there a mileage limit?

No mileage cap — drive as far as your adventure takes you within Costa Rica. That's the whole point.

What do I need to bring?

Just your gear, groceries, and sense of adventure. The truck comes fully kitted with sleeping, cooking, and safety equipment. We'll provide a full packing list when you book.
